Patna, June 29 -- The Congress party on Sunday alleged that the education system in Bihar, a place once known as a center of learning, is now in a tattered condition due to insensitivity and negligence of the Nitish Kumar government.
Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and Congress MP of Rajya Sabha Digvijay Singh told media persons here that Bihar was once the centre of high quality education and students from several countries would come to the state's Universities like Nalanda.
"A state having a glorious past in quality of education, was ruined by present dispensation in the state, leaving youths with no option but to migrate to other states for higher studies and livelihood," he added.
