Patna, Dec. 9 -- In a major initiative to boost job opportunities in Bihar, Nitish Kumar government on Tuesday created three new departments in the state, which would help in fulfilling pre-poll promises of NDA to provide one crore jobs and employments to youths.

A decision to this effect was taken in cabinet meeting Chaired by the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Additional Chief Secretary of Cabinet Secretariat department Arvind Kumar Chaudhary told media persons here that state cabinet had approved a proposal to create three new departments in Bihar. Three new departments would be known as Youth, Employment and Skill Development, the Higher Education and the Civil Aviation.
