Patna, July 1 -- Bihar Parliamentary Minister and senior JD(U) leader Vijay Kumar Chaudhary today said that Nitish Kumar government was committed to protect the interests of minorities in the state.
Chaudhary told media persons here that there was no question for minorities to get frightened in the wake of new Waqf Board Act as Nitish Kumar government was committed to protect their interests.
One of the great achievements of Nitish Kumar government was to ensure safety and security of minorities, he added.
"Steps taken by Nitish Kumar government has set an example for other states on how to ensure safety and security of minorities there," Minister said adding that inclusive growth was guiding principle of Nitish Kumar government.
