Patna, Sept. 8 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today expressed deep sorrow over the demise of senior journalist and The Telegraph editor Sankarshan Thakur.

In his condolence message, the Chief Minister said, "The death of Sankarshan Thakur is an irreparable loss to the world of journalism," adding that Thakur was a well-known name in the field of journalism.

"He also authored books related to Bihar's politics, among which 'Akela Aadmi' and 'The Brothers Bihari' are prominent. His important contribution to journalism will always be remembered," Kumar noted.
