Patna, May 11 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar directed officials to speed up the construction work of roads being built in Patna district.
After inspecting various roads in Patna district on Sunday, Kumar gave necessary directions to the officials regarding the maintenance of the constructed roads and for the speedy completion of the under-construction roads.
The chief minister also inspected the work going on for widening and strengthening various roads of the state capital, which he said would provide a good alternative route to the commuters.
He also visited the railway overbridge being constructed near Shivala turning in the state capital. Kumar inspected the ongoing project of the Patna Metro Railways.
