Purnea, March 12 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday announced that milk production committees will be formed in all 378 villages of Purnea district and Sudha milk outlets will be opened in all 230 panchayats to promote dairy development in the region.
Addressing a public meeting during his Samriddhi Yatra, Kumar said here that several development initiatives would be implemented in the district between 2025 and 2030 under the Saat Nischay-3 programme.
He said that 5.12 lakh women in the district have already been given Rs 10,000 each under the Chief Minister's Women Employment Scheme to support their livelihoods. Women whose enterprises perform well will be eligible for additional financial assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh to e...
