Kishanganj, March 11 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Wednesday announced 122 development projects worth Rs 235 crore for Kishanganj district with an aim to boost infrastructure and welfare initiatives in the region.
The Chief Minister, during his Samriddhi Yatra, virtually inaugurated and laid foundation stones for the projects during a function at Thakurganj block. Out of the total projects, he laid the foundation stone for 73 schemes worth Rs 133 crore and inaugurated 49 schemes worth Rs 102 crore.
Kumar directed officials to ensure that the construction work is completed within the stipulated time frame and with proper quality standards.
