Patna, March 12 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and leader of opposition in Bihar Legislative Council Rabri Devi had a heated exchange on the issues of law and order, women and development in the legislative council during the pre lunch sitting on Wednesday.

The opposition while raising the issue of rising crime and deteriorating law and order created bedlam in the state legislative council.

Intervening in the ruckus, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that whatever development was visible it was done by his government. They did nothing when they were in power, Kumar said pointing towards the opposition and especially Rabri Devi accusing her of being unaware of the work taken up by him.
