Nagpur, Aug. 3 -- Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari received a bomb threat targeting his residence in Nagpur, a senior police officer said.
The threat was made via a call to Nagpur police's emergency helpline number 112, after which police conducted a thorough search of his home.
According to the police official, the city control room received a call on the emergency number 112, warning that Gadkari's residence would be blown up within ten minutes.
Upon receiving the threat, the police immediately launched action. The Pratap Nagar Police Station was informed, and officials reached the minister's house to conduct a search. No suspicious object was found during the search operation.
