Nagpur, Jan. 15 -- union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday cast his vote in the Nagpur Municipal Corporation elections and expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would register a resounding victory with record breaking margins in civic polls across Maharashtra.

Polling is being held on Thursday for 29 municipal corporations in the state, including Nagpur.

Gadkari, accompanied by his family members, exercised his franchise at the New English School polling booth in the Mahal area of the city.

Speaking to reporters, Gadkari said that the people of Nagpur have elected the BJP to power in the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) for three consecutive terms, providing the party with an opportunity to carry out development w...
