Bengaluru, Oct. 2 -- NITES today demanded that the Indian government immediately launch a probe into Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) over mass terminations, unfair practices, and systemic discrimination, calling the company's conduct "exploitative" and "unacceptable."The organisation said employees in both the US and India are the ones who pay the price, facing job loss, uncertainty, mental trauma, and coercive conditions.
NITES lashed out at sections of the business media for attempting to whitewash TCS's practices by emphasising severance packages, outplacement services, or mental health programs, insisting that no cosmetic benefit can erase the larger pattern of exploitation.
