Aizawl, Nov. 25 -- The National Institute of Technology Mizoram on Tuesday held its Ninth Convocation at the Community Hall in Lengpui near here, celebrating both the success of its graduates and a year of significant institutional achievements.
Prof. Devendra Jalihal, Director of IIT Guwahati, graced the ceremony as Chief Guest, joined by Chairman of the Board of Governors Harshavardhan Neotia and NIT Mizoram Director Prof. S. Sundar.
A total of 185 students received their degrees at the convocation, including 137 B.Tech., 15 M.Tech. and a notable 33 Ph.D. scholars. The institute also recognised outstanding academic performers, with Ashish Gupta of Computer Science and Engineering receiving the prestigious Institute Gold Medal.
