Patna, March 8 -- Amid sustained and vociferous demands made by leaders and workers, which got intensified during the last three days since Chief Minister Nitish Kumar decided to go to Rajya Sabha, his son Nishant Kumar on Sunday joined JD(U), embarking on political journey.

Nishant accepted the membership of JD(U) from working president of the party Sanjay Jha,in presence of top leaders and a large number of workers who made it a historic event by expressing their enthusiasm and hopes for him that he would be strength and vigour of the party after Nitish Kumar decided to go to upper House of the parliament.
