Seattle, June 12 -- American rock band Nirvana's iconic track 'Smells Like Teen Spirits' has now reached over 2 billion views, making it the first for any of the Seattle's 'grunge' scene bands to reach such a milestone.
The track, which was released as part of the group's second album 'Nevermind' is known for its raw production and guitar distortion, its catchy riff, and the iconic chorus which has also become a massive meme issue in the music community due to the intelligible vocals of late songwriter Kurt Cobain.
The Samuel Bayer-directed video first appeared on MTV in the fall of 1991 and went on to help Nirvana to the Best New Artist and Best Alternative Group video wins at the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards. The clip was reportedl...
