Nashik, Dec. 13 -- The cold wave conditions continued to prevail in Nashik and Niphad talukas of the district, with minimum temperature falling below 10 degree Celsius at both places.
Today morning, the agricultural research centre at Kundewadi in Niphad has recorded a drop in mercury to 5.7 degree C, while it was 7.8 degree C in Nashik.
Yesterday also, the minimum temperature in Nashik city was recorded at 8.2 degree C. In one day, the mercuty dropped by 0.4 degree C.
In Niphad the temperature also dropped by 0.4 degree Celsius to 5.7 degree C (the lowest recorded in the current season) from yesterday's 6.1 degree C.
