Jaunpur (UP), Feb. 20 -- Nine persons were killed and 32 others injured in two separate road accidents in Badalpur area of Jaunpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Thursday.
Police sources said that the first incident took place on the Varanasi Lucknow highway when a car carrying devotees from Jaunpur to Ayodhya collided with an unknown vehicle. "11 people were injured in the and were taken to community health centre where doctors declared five dead. The deceased include three women, one man and a child," they said.
