Jammu, Sept. 22 -- The nine-day Navratras started today with much fanfare and alongside, the pilgrimage of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi started reaching the holy Katra town in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The pilgrimage to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, which resumed on September 18, has started witnessing an increase in the arrival of pilgrims from across the country who offer prayers at the cave shrine nestled in Trikuta Hills.

The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has made elaborate arrangements for the pilgrims on the auspicious occasion of the beginning of Shardiya Navratras.
