Hassan, Aug. 31 -- JD(S) leader Nikhil Kumaraswamy today said that his visit to Dharmasthala along with devotees is strictly non-political and urged the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to investigate the recent controversies surrounding the temple town.
Addressing reporters, Nikhil said, "Today, we are going to Dharmasthala. This is a non-political event. Many devotees of Lord Manjunath Swamy and Anappa Swamy are taking part."He expressed concern over "speculations" regarding developments in and around Dharmasthala and insisted that only a central probe could bring clarity. "If this has to come to a proper conclusion, the NIA has to conduct an inquiry and bring out the real truth. Our faith is unshakeable, and nobody can take that away...
