Exercising powers under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, Additional District Magistrate Rupinder Pal Singh issued the directive prohibiting activities within a 500-meter radius of the barbed wire fencing during nighttime hours.
