Pune, Feb. 24 -- Night temperatures were appreciably above normal (3degC to 5degC) at a few places over Gujarat State; at isolated places over Bihar and west Madhya Pradesh; above normal (1degC to 3degC) at a few places over west Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal; at isolated places over Jammu-Kashmir, west Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Konkan and Goa, Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe.
These were below normal (-3degC to -1degC) at a few places over Vidarbha; at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, east Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Assam and Meghalaya and near normal over rest parts of the country.
