NIELIT training centre to be set up at Dhanbad Polytechnic

Dhanbad, July 13 -- The district administration is planning to establish a National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) training centre at Dhanbad Polytechnic to boost skill development initiatives in the region.

Dhanbad Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan on Sunday inspected ongoing skill-related activities at the polytechnic and said that efforts are underway to set up a NIELIT-certified training facility on the campus.

He said that NIELIT certification is essential for candidates appearing in various central government training and recruitment processes. To address this, the administration aims to establish two to three such centres in the district under Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).
