Srinagar, Dec. 9 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is carrying out searches in a forested belt of Hatmura in south Kashmir's Anantnag district as part of its probe into last month's Red Fort blast in New Delhi.

Officials said on Tuesday that NIA teams, assisted by Police and CRPF, brought along two accused to the Mattan forest area after they reportedly disclosed the presence of suspected hideouts used by the module. The search operation continued till last reports.

The forest search is part of efforts to trace the module's movements, logistics, and possible hideouts in south Kashmir.
