Lucknow, Dec. 1 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday carried out a raid at the Lucknow residence of Dr. Shaheen Shahid, accused of masterminding the recent Delhi car blast.
The operation, conducted in coordination with the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), began early in the morning, with Lucknow Police deploying security personnel around her neighborhood in Lalbagh's Khandari Bazaar.
Sources said NIA officials questioned Dr. Shaheen's father, Saeed Ansari, and her elder brother, Shoaib, for several hours. Contrary to circulating reports, Dr. Shaheen was not present during the raid, which concluded at around 11:42 am after an extensive search and interrogation.
