New Delhi, Aug. 14 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has chargesheeted one accused in connection of the Amritsar police post grenade attack case. The accused, Bagga Singh alias Rinku of Sirsa, Haryana, has been charged under various sections of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita and Explosive Substances Act for conspiring and executing the grenade attack. Along with accused Mandeep Singh, Bagga had allegedly hurled the hand grenade at Police Post Gumtala in Amritsar district in January this year, as per the NIA findings. Bagga had been recruited for the crime by USA-based drugs, arms and explosives smuggler Sarwan Singh alias Bhola, an associate of terror operative Happy Passian, as per NIA investigations. ...
