Hyderabad, March 10 -- The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL) on Tuesday felicitated ten truck drivers for exemplary driving behaviour at Muthangi Truck Parking facility here under the "Vishisht Saarthi" initiative.
The programme, launched under the leadership of union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, recognises professional drivers who maintain traffic discipline, adhere to safety norms, and contribute to safer highways.
The event in Hyderabad was held simultaneously in four other cities and was attended by NHAI Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav, IHMCL Managing Director Vishal Chauhan, and CEO Mudit Agarwal (virtually from New Delhi).
