Shimla, April 16 -- Blaming the Himachal Pradesh government for "administrative negligence and delays," BJP MP Suresh Kashyap said construction of the Panchkula-Baddi-Nalagarh NH-105, a key industrial project, was disrupted after the EPC contractor foreclosed the contract.

Kashyap alleged that repeated delays in land acquisition, statutory clearances, and inter-departmental coordination by the state government led to the suspension of work on the crucial highway connecting the industrial belts of Himachal Pradesh and Haryana. He said the situation has caused serious setbacks to regional industrial growth and infrastructure development.
