Chennai, April 2 -- Indian government-owned NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) and Hyderabad-based aerospace firm Dhruva Space Private Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly work on the design, manufacture, testing, and supply of solar panels for global satellite manufacturers.
According to NSIL the timing of this MoU is critical, as the solar industry is entering into "restructuring phase" in 2026 and the demand for the solar panels for satellites are on the rise.
