Malappuram, Aug. 16 -- A newlywed couple were found dead inside their house at Manalodi near Nilambur, today.
According to police, the deceased were identified as Rajesh (23), son of Nadarajan of Manalodi, and his wife Amritha (19) of Erumamunda, in the district.
The body of Rajesh was found dead after consuming poison, while Amritha's body was found hanging in their bedroom.
The bodies were found around afternoon by local residents.
The couple got married three months back, after being in love for years.
Prime facie police suspected that family dispute was the cause of the extreme step.
The bodies were shifted to Nilambur District hospital after post-mortem.
