Mumbai, Nov. 17 -- A doctor and nurse employed in a maternity home at Govandi in north-east Mumbai, were arrested for allegedly conspiring to sell a newborn boy apparently with the mother's consent. officials said here on Monday .
The Shivaji nagar police station received information that a woman had delivered a premature baby boy at a private hospital on Sunday morning. The informant claimed that the doctor along with the nurse, were planning to sell the baby for Rs 5 lakh with the mother's consent.
