Hazaribagh, Oct. 15 -- A shocking incident surfaced in Keradari block of Hazaribagh district when the body of a newborn was found abandoned in a field at Natichatti Tola, under the jurisdiction of the Pagar police outpost, this morning.
The discovery has sent waves of grief and outrage across the local community.
Local villagers who came across the infant's body immediately alerted the authorities.
Pagar OP In-Charge Dinesh Mandal, along with his team, reached the spot and took custody of the body.
Senior police officials were informed, and the body was sent to Hazaribagh Sadar Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
