Srinagar, Feb. 17 -- Kashmir's only tertiary-care AYUSH hospital, based in Srinagar, has launched the Valley's largest Yoga facility.

Housed in a large hall, the centre was inaugurated on Saturday by the department's director Dr Nuzhat Bashir on the occasion to mark the birthday of renowned Unani scholar Hakeem Ajmal Khan sahab, one of the founders of Jamia Millia Islamia university.

The facility will treat musculo-skeletal disorders, gynecological conditions, and lifestyle diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity which will significantly benefit from the daily yoga practice.
