Lucknow, May 16 -- After Lucknow and Meerut, microbiology labs are now being set up in major districts like Varanasi, Kanpur, Mirzapur, Bareilly and Aligarh, which will not only be useful for scientific testing of the quality of food and drug products, but will also enable quick and accurate action in matters related to public health.
Special Secretary, Food Safety and Drug Administration Department, Rekha Singh Chauhan said that the work of the microbiology lab built in Varanasi has been completed and will start operating from May 31.
