Imphal, Dec. 10 -- The Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAF&PD) Department, government of Manipur has announced the rollout of free LPG connections for eligible women beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) Phase 3.0.
The initiative follows the Central government's recent decision to release 25 lakh additional free LPG connections in the country, reinforcing its commitment to women's empowerment, improved public health, and reduced household drudgery through access to clean cooking fuel.
