Aizawl, Dec. 22 -- The first sitting of the newly constituted 25-member Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC) has been convened for Monday, marking the formal beginning of proceedings in the council following the December 3 elections.
Lallura Chinzah, who has been appointed protem chairman by Mizoram Governor Gen. Vijay Kumar Singh, will administer the oath of office to the newly elected Members of District Council (MDCs). Prior to the commencement of the sitting, the Deputy Commissioner of Lawngtlai district, Donny Lalruatsanga, or his authorised representative, will first administer the oath to Chinzah at the LADC council hall.
