Washington, Nov. 4 -- New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has said that the state has mobilized National Guard personnel to ensure food security amid the government shutdown.
"We have mobilized the New Jersey National Guard to assist with emergency food storage and transportation in light of the Trump Administration's failure to fully and consistently fund SNAP [Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program] benefits," Murphy said on X yesterday.
