Kochi, Sept. 23 -- New Jersey Governor Philip D. Murphy, accompanied by his wife Tammy Murphy, visited Lulu Mall in Edappally, to experience Kerala's rich food offerings and explore the mall's retail variety.
The visit was part of his business partnership discussions in Kochi and came at the invitation of Lulu Group Chairman M.A. Yusuffali, a close friend of the Governor who supports Lulu's commercial ventures in New Jersey.
Governor Murphy and his wife were welcomed by M.A. Yusuffali, Lulu Group India CEO M.A. Nishad, and Lulu Kochi Director Sadiq Kasim. In a special gesture, Chairman Yusuffali personally took the Governor for a tour of the mall in a buggy vehicle, giving him a firsthand view of the shopping complex.
