Chennai, Aug. 19 -- The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. has set up an insurance help desk at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC) at Porur in Chennai.

This help desk aims to provide patients immediate assistance with insurance queries, policy information, and claim settlements, a hospital release said today.

Ms. Girija Subramanian, Chairman and Managing Director of New India Assurance Co. Ltd. inaugurated the help desk.

Speaking at the event, she urged the importance of having medi claim insurance since the medical expense is increasing day by day.
