Colombo, Dec. 24 -- A new brief by the International Labour Organisation has detailed severe economic and labour market damage caused by Cyclone Ditwah, which made landfall in Sri Lanka on Nov 26, unleashing torrential rain, widespread flooding and deadly landslides across much of the country.

According to the ILO, the worst flooding was recorded in northern and eastern districts, while landslides disproportionately affected central regions, including key tea-growing areas.
