The Atlas Lions maintained their position at the top of the continental peaking, followed by Senegal (17th), Nigeria (28th), Egypt (36th) and Cote d'Ivoire (39th).
Teams that participated in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023 made good improvements, Angola on top, climbing 24 spots to 93rd, Nigeria, the beaten finalists in the AFCON 2023, surged
