New enrolled applicants to receive Rs 1,000 p.m. under women household head scheme, KMUT from Dec 15

Chennai, Oct. 16 -- New applicants enrolled under the Kamlaignar Magalir Utimai Thogai (KMUT)(Women household heads) scheme would receive Rs 1,000 assistance per month from December 15.

About 28 lakh fresh applications were received during the 'Ungaludan Stalin' camps launched by ChiefMinister M K Stalin taking the government services to the doors of the people and address their grievances.

Informing this in the State Assembly today, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin said all theapplications woukd scrutinised by November 30, and all eligible women beneficiaries will receivetheir monthly entitlement from December 15.
