New center to train underprivileged women in beauty skills
Mumbai, Aug. 10 -- India chapter of the international brand L'Oreal, L'Oreal India, has partnered with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to establish a beauty skill centre in North Mumbai, expanding L'Oreal's skill development footprint in Maharashtra..
The initiative was inaugurated today by Asim Kaushik, Managing Director of L'Oreal India, and Sogata Roy Chowdhury, Executive Director of CII and CEO of its Centre of Excellence on Skills.
The center will offer practical training in hairdressing and makeup through company-developed courses, enhancing employability and livelihoods.
