Bengaluru, Dec. 19 -- In a pioneering move for eye care in Karnataka, Nethradhama Superspeciality Eye Hospital has launched the state's first mobile unit equipped with the Ziemer Z8 Neo, a cutting-edge femtosecond laser system for bladeless eye surgeries.
The mobile unit will rotate between five centres-including three in Bengaluru, one in Mysuru, and an outreach site-bringing advanced eye care to patients without centralising services at a single location.
