New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- Netflix, a global subscription-based streaming service, admitted that it has used generative AI (GenAI) to create a building collapse scene in Argentine science fiction series 'The Eternaut.'GenAI is an AI-driven technology that creates new content such as text, images, videos by learning from existing data and patterns. It speeds up production, reduces costs, and enhances the creative processes by automating tasks including scriptwriting, character design, and the creation of visual effects.
Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos said that their visual effects studio Scaninine partners with the creative team to leverage the power of AI.
