Los Angeles, Dec. 7 -- Following the announcement of its landmark deal to acquire 'Warner Bros. and HBO Max,' Netflix has emailed subscribers to assure them that nothing is changing, for now, regarding their plans or the service, reports Variety.

The message, sent late Friday with the subject line "Welcoming Warner Bros. to Netflix," emphasised that both platforms will continue to operate independently while the acquisition moves through approvals.

"We recently announced that Netflix will acquire Warner Bros., including its film and television studios, HBO Max and HBO," the email stated.
