Los Angeles, Feb. 12 -- The Broadway production of 'Stranger Things: The First Shadow' is set to make its way to Netflix, according to Variety. The streaming platform is filming the stage play this week for a future release, bringing the theatrical expansion of the 'Stranger Things' universe to audiences worldwide.
The filmed version will capture the show's original Broadway company in its current run. To facilitate filming, producers Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions cancelled performances from February 10 to February 14. Regular performances will resume on February 15. A release date for the recorded version has not yet been announced, as per Variety.
