Kathmandu, April 3 -- The pro-monarchy Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) of Nepal has demanded an investigation into the "repression" of the protest in Tinkune, Kathmandu, on March 28, as well as the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak for his actions against pro-monarchy protesters, which included media censorship, and violent police crackdown on protesters and journalists.
The protests and arson led to the deaths of two people and injuries to over 30 in clashes with security forces.
