Entebbe, March 10 -- Nepal defeated hosts Uganda by one wicket in an international women's cricket T20 tournament here on Sunday.
After falling to Namibia on Saturday, the Nepal team regrouped and gave their best to defeat Uganda in a match played at the Entebbe Cricket Oval.
The hosts batted first to put on 75/7 in 20 overs, while Nepal chased to win by one wicket after collecting 76/9 in 19.5 overs.
Nepal, which had restricted Uganda to a low score, batted and managed to secure the victory. San Praveen collected 17 runs, while Puja Mahoto and Rubina Chhetry collected 16 and 10 runs, respectively.
In the second match of the day, Namibia suffered a defeat to Hong Kong, China, by four wickets.
