Kalaburgi, March 29 -- Senior BJP leader and Legislative Council LoP Chalavadi Narayanaswamy on Sunday flagged what he termed as growing confusion over the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) in Karnataka, alleging that the handling of language provisions, particularly Hindi, was causing distress to students.
Criticising the timing of the government's decisions, he said changes to language policy should have been announced at the beginning of the academic year, rather than at a stage when teaching has already been completed and examinations are imminent.
