Shillong, Jan. 12 -- Students of the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) and the Khasi Students' union (KSU) on Monday sought Meghalaya Governor C.H. Vijayshankar's intervention to resolve the continuing administrative and financial crisis at NEHU.

In a memorandum submitted to Vijayshankar, who also serves as the Chief Rector of NEHU, a premier central vastity, the students organisations also demanded the ouster of Prof Prabha Shankar Shukla as Vice-Chancellor of NEHU.
