Ranchi, Sept. 4 -- Neha Mahato, Senior Vice-President of the Jharkhand Archery Association and Chairperson of the Birsa Munda Archery Academy (Silli), has been appointed Senior Vice-President of the Jharkhand Olympic Association.
Association Secretary General Madhukant Pathak said President R.K. Anand nominated Mahato in recognition of her achievements and contributions to sports and child welfare.
In 2015, under her leadership, the Birsa Munda Archery Academy was conferred the National Child Welfare Award by then President of India Pranab Mukherjee for its work in promoting sports and holistic development of children.
